Breakfast was hit or miss. while eggs were cooked to perfection, the chaotic service during one morning stood out. A minor disappointment was the unavailability of warm croissants, which used to be a staple. the setting is charming and offers easy access to local trails.

Had a wonderful evening enjoying a lovely meal while a pianist played beautifully for us. We found the garden area perfect for a quiet cup of tea or just lounging in the sun. If I had to nitpick, the room could've had a little more space between the beds, but honestly, I slept like a baby! 😊

Had an amazing time with friends! We enjoyed nearby fishing and arranged pony trekking. The cozy atmosphere wraps around you, offering good meals, especially breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it's a dog-friendly place. Highly recommend it for a group getaway!

Absolutely loved the cozy vibe! The classic Devon afternoon tea was to die for with scones, jam, and cakes that made my day. I also enjoyed the cool walk to Wistman's Wood nearby. Just wish the bathroom didn't have plastic cups everywhere. it's a bit off for such a lovely place. Still, I had a blast!
